Praying with the Big Guys

I have just completed a series of sermons entitled Praying with the Big Guys in which I encouraged our congregation to go deeper in their prayer-life.  Using examples of some of the Heroes of the Hebrew Scriptures, I shared some of the truths about prayer and spending time with God in fellowship with Him.

Unlike many things in our modern world, the only way to learn to pray is to pray.  One can hear sermons on prayer, read books on prayers, or watch videos on prayer, but until one actually begins to pray, you will not learn how to pray.
